Explanation
Parents can help their children understand themselves by asking questions that encourage self-awareness. Asking your children questions that help them to recognize and understand their own goodness, and the things that make them happy will contribute a lot to their confidence and sense of well-being. As children develop self-awareness, they become more creative and independent in their thinking, as well as develop better social relationships. They feel more capable of self-control, knowing and managing their emotions. When children recognise the qualities that make them happy, they are better able to connect their principles with their actions and behaviours.
Guidance
As you talk with your children, you can try to find answers to these questions:
● Who am I? What is important to me? Why?
● What do I like to do? What do I dislike? Why?
● What are my dreams for the future? What strengths do I have that will help me achieve my dreams?
